INTRODUCTION
Dr. Mehdi Manji Pathological laboratory was founded by Dr. Mehdi A.Manji in November 1971 in a small premise in Saddar, Karachi. Today, Dr.Mehdi A. Manji Pathological Laboratories is in its fourth decade of serving the people of Karachi and, in an effort to provide its quality service to the vast majority of Karachi, Dr. Mehdi A. Manji Pathological Laboratories are functioning at eight convenient locations in various parts of Karachi.

Dr. Mehdi Manji Pathological Laboratories function on automated, semi-automated and computerized equipments under the personal supervision of Dr. Mehdi A. Manji and his qualified pathologists, trained and skilled technicians.

The rates of tests are affordable and maintained to suit all income groups whether, individuals on self-payment basis or individuals backed by their Organizations Medical Policy. On an average 30,000-40,000 tests are performed on a monthly basis.

The students of Karachi University aspiring towards their M.Phil and PhD. degrees have had the facility of using Dr. Mehdi Manji Pathological Laboratories and the expertise of Dr. Mehdi Manji in their research work.

DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES
Laboratory test results impact healthcare decisions. Through our Diagnostic testing, information and services, health care professionals gain an insight to enable them to make decisions to improve the healthcare of their patients.

Diagnostic services are provided in the field of Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Routine and special Chemistry, Histopathology and Molecular Biology. Through the use of stringent Quality Assurance Programs, both internal and external like EQAS (External Quality Assurance System) by BIORAD, precision and accuracy of tests are closely monitored. Dr. Mehdi Manji Pathological Laboratories also provide other Diagnostic facilities like X-Rays, Ultrasound and ECG at some of its centers. All these departments are supported by Qualified Radiologists and Sonologists.
